Recap: Cavender Auto Group’s 3rd Cavender Commitment Car Giveaway

Whether you’re helping you find the car, truck, or SUV of your dreams, giving your current vehicle the TLC it deserves or giving back to those in need, we’re dedicated to serving the good folks of South Texas. And as the home of the largest joint base in the Department of Defense, here in San Antonio, TX, we take pride in our military and all the brave men and women who serve our country. This past Memorial Day, we launched our newest military initiative to show our appreciation for veterans in need of a new car. Through our Cavender Car Giveaway, each quarter, we give away a free vehicle to a deserving military community member. Since then, we’ve given away three free cars to military heroes from our community. Just in time for the holidays, our 3rd free car went on to a deserving military member. Read on to see how it went!
Christmas Comes Early
A very special congratulations to our winner, David and his family on winning a brand new 2024 Chevrolet Malibu! As a local Air Force Veteran, David was nominated by friends and family through our Nominate and Hero page and went on to be a semi-finalist before making a personalized video sharing his story and history with the military.

Cavender’s Commitment
Since last fall, we’re proud to have provided brand-new vehicles to three deserving veterans and military personnel. So far, we’ve given away a Ford, a Buick, and now a new 2024 Chevy Malibu.
